Men try to abduct woman from roadside in Pleasant Grove, police say Elizabeth Djinis
A 19-year-old woman was nearly abducted Monday in Pleasant Grove but managed to fight off the kidnapping, police say.
The woman was walking west on Military Parkway near North Jim Miler Road when a car with its license plate covered pulled up next to her about 10:30 a.m.
A man in the passenger seat, wearing his shirt over his face, tried to grab her and push her into the car while the driver held the door open.
