Man arrested after 5-hour standoff at Far East Dallas apartment complex Claire Z. Cardona
Dallas SWAT officers arrested a man without incident after a five-hour standoff Wednesday in Far East Dallas.
Police responded to a domestic disturbance about 3:30 p.m. at the Vantage Point Apartment in the 10700 block of Woodmeadow Parkway, near Interstate 635 and La Prada Drive.
A woman told officers a man she lives with had physically assaulted her and threatened her with a firearm, police said.
