Man stabbed girlfriend to death at Arlington home, police say Claire Z. Cardona
A man is in jail after Arlington police say he stabbed his 29-year-old girlfriend multiple times in the neck, killing her.
Police responded about 5 a.m. to the 1000 block of Royal Circle, near South Bowen Road, where officers found Heather Bruenig dead of apparent stab wounds.
Bruenig’s roommate originally found her and reported that Javier Vasquez, Bruenig’s boyfriend who also lives in the home, was the last person to be seen with her, police said.
