Man hoverboarding from Red Bird convenience store witnesses argument, gets shot Liz Farmer
A man riding his hoverboard after going to a convenience store in Red Bird was shot in the back of his leg late Friday night.
The victim told police he saw three people arguing in the 7100 block of Chaucer Place about 10:50 p.m. when one of them pulled out a gun. The victim said he then turned to pick up his hoverboard, heard a shot and realized he’d been struck in the leg.
The two suspects who didn’t pull out a gun got into a maroon or burgundy sedan and fled.
