Dallas murder rate still high but shows signs of slowing Tasha Tsiaperas
Murders are up nearly 40 percent over last year in Dallas, but the rate has slowed since an alarming spike in March.
There were 17 homicides in May, when 10 people killed in one week. But March remained the deadliest month of the year, with 20 victims.
