Woodrow Wilson fire started by students, investigators say Claire Z. Cardona
Dallas Fire-Rescue investigators determined two juveniles started the Jan. 26 fire at Woodrow Wilson High that prompted an evacuation and shut the school down for the rest of the week.
Two boys were arrested and charged with arson in the case, DFR spokesman Jason Evans said.
The boys, who are students at the school, told investigators they were “smoking and burning paper” in the third-floor bathroom closet when the fire began, Evans said.
