Ohio pastor fatally shot during Sunday services Claire Z. Cardona
DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio pastor with deep roots in the Dayton community was shot and killed at the pulpit during Sunday services at his church.
A man whom witnesses identified as the pastor’s brother was taken into custody.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 70-year-old William B. Schooler. Schooler was pastor of St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church, where the shooting occurred around 12:30 p.m.
