A mother helped catch an alleged sexual predator by pretending online she was her 9-year-old daughter, WFAA-TV (Channel 8) has reported.

Jonathan Ashley Butler, 36, was arrested Friday after he drove to Justin to have sex with the girl, police say.

“He had already made arrangements that [was] where they were going to meet,” Grapevine police Lt. Barry Bowling said Monday. “That’s when he was intercepted.”
