A known member of the Aryan Brotherhood was sentenced to 80 years in prison Wednesday for choking his then-girlfriend into unconsciousness, according to the Tarrant County district attorney’s office.

Christopher Patrick Farr, 44, was convicted of assaulting a family member by impeding breathing, said Samantha Jordan, spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office.
