Terrell police are investigating the sexual assault of a child by other juveniles that was recorded and shared with other people.

The victim told a school counselor on May 2 about the incident, The Terrell Tribune reports, and the counselor notified police.

The date of the assault, which did not take place on school property, has not been released.
