FORT WORTH — A Mexican private investigator who is on trial for stalking a Southlake lawyer who was gunned down by a hit man said Friday that when he asked his cousin for help, he didn’t tell him he was working for a violent and dangerous cartel boss.

Jesus Gerardo Ledezma Cepeda, 59, testified for a second day.
