A man was fatally shot in Northwest Dallas on Wednesday night.

The man was transported from the scene near the intersection of Webb Chapel Road and Larga Drive, north of West Northwest Highway, to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Dallas police received the call about 6:15 p.m.

The incident remains under investigation.
