The Texas Rangers are investigating a fatal shooting in Sansom Park.

Medstar spokeswoman Brett Lyle said paramedics responded to a shooting call in the 5800 block of Jacksboro Highway about 10:20 p.m. Friday.

The patient was pronounced dead at the scene about 10 minutes later, Lyle said.

Texas Rangers spokesman Lonny Haschel said the Texas Rangers were investigating the shooting, but declined to give details.
