A woman was attacked and robbed Monday while she walking on the Katy Trail.

The woman was walking around 9:20 p.m. when a man jumped out of the bushes and knocked the woman down, police said.

She was able to fight off the man by kicking and screaming, but the man stole some of the woman’s property before he fled, police said.
