Mesquite police are searching for a man who they say exposed himself to a 15-year-old girl.

The girl was walking to Poteet High School in the 3300 block of North Galloway about 8 a.m. Wednesday when a man pulled up near her and asked if she needed a ride, police said.

When the girl looked into the vehicle she saw the man fondling himself, police said. She ran toward the school and reported the incident to administrators.
