A Texas inmate who murdered her lover and hired help to encase him in a concrete grave in his own backyard recently forged a judge’s signature in a surreptitious bid to reduce her prison sentence.

Kwaneta Yatrice Harris faked paperwork that ordered her sentence to be decreased from 50 to eight years.

That would have scheduled her release for as early as this year.
