U.S. Marshals arrest man suspected of posing as dead homeowner Julieta Chiquillo
The man suspected of selling a Kessler Stevens home by pretending to be its dead owner was arrested Thursday in California, authorities said.
Christopher Brian Colbert, 43, is awaiting extradition after U.S. Marshals caught him in Los Angeles, according to Dallas police.
Colbert is accused of tampering with government record, securing the execution of document by deception and money laundering. Los Angeles County court records show that no bail has been set.
