Jamaican man sentenced to 6 years in lotto mail scam that duped Fort Worth man Hannah Wise
A Jamaican man has been sentenced to 78 months in federal prison for a lottery and sweepstakes scam that targeted elderly victims, including a Fort Worth man.
Andre Hugh Saunders, 35, was also ordered Monday to pay restitution to the mail fraud victims. He must pay more than $300,000 to the North Texan. In total, Saunders was ordered to pay more than $500,000 in restitution.
