Mesquite fires HR secretary over alleged theft via falsified forms Ray Leszcynski
Mesquite’s executive secretary for human resources was fired over allegations of theft, city officials said Tuesday.
Tammy Castillo admitted falsifying forms used for employee reimbursement for vision and tobacco cessation programs, city officials said. They did not immediately provide Castillo’s age, length of employment or the amount or timeline of the theft.
No criminal charges have been filed, but the Mesquite Police Department investigation is continuing.
