A Keller man was arrested last week after police say he sold synthetic party drug to a couple who overdosed and ended up in a Grapevine hospital.
Steven Elliott King, 45, faces four felony drug-dealing charges after police seized multiple items from his home, including six guns, three phones, five computers and drug paraphernalia, according to a search warrant affidavit.
Last Thursday, Keller police responded around 8:30 a.m. to the 1300 block of Brian Ridge Drive where a 20-year-old man was “out of it,” having trouble breathing and noticeably blue, police documents say.
The overdose victim, who was not identified, was admitted to the ICU at Baylor Grapevine, along with his girlfriend. She had also overdosed and told police the drug was a synthetic heroin known as U-47770.
