In the months before her violent death, a hairdresser told her friends she lived in fear.

Georgia Scruggs, 58, was found slain in her Far Northeast Dallas home Wednesday. For months, she had worried that her “crazy” family member would make good on his repeated death threats, her friend, Santos Garcia, said Thursday.
