Billy Kurfman knows he reported for work at The Hangout Patio Bar on April 17, 2014. But he doesn’t remember going to work.

He doesn’t remember being called out to the parking lot sometime after 10 p.m. to deal with some sort of disagreement with patrons. He doesn’t remember talking with Benjamin Newman and his then-girlfriend, Rebecca Locke, who were both drunk. Nor does he remember Newman driving off or coming back and driving his car into him and three others.
