Forney police are investigating the death of a man found in his backyard Thursday evening.

The man’s wife found the man’s body outside the couple’s home on the 100 block of Villanova Circle and called police around 6:30 p.m., according to a news release.

The man’s name and manner of death were not released.

Texas Rangers and the Department of Public Safety are also helping with the investigation.
