Dallas police were investigating a shooting in Lake Highlands Sunday afternoon that left one person injured.

Police responded to the 9700 block of Whitehurst Drive, near Skillman Street and Interstate 635, about 3:15 p.m.

The victim was transported to an area hospital. The person’s condition has not been released.
