University Park police seek public’s help identifying purse snatcher Julie Fancher
University Park police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman who robbed another woman at a gas station Friday afternoon.
Police said around 3:30 p.m. the victim was pumping gas at the Shell gas station in Snider Plaza when the woman demanded her purse, then pulled out a knife, reached into the woman’s vehicle and grabbed the purse.
A small child was in the vehicle at the time, police said. No one was injured.
