A man was shot in the arm and leg Tuesday night in South Dallas.

Police responded to the scene in the 3600 block of Penelope Street, near South Fitzhugh Avenue and Robert B Cullum Boulevard, shortly after 6 p.m. Police said the wounded man was being uncooperative and refusing to answer questions.

Dallas Fire-Rescue transported him to Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.

No other injuries were reported.
