Fort Worth police were investigating a fatal shooting Sunday morning.

Police found the body of a man lying in a field behind a wrecked pickup truck in the 3900 block of Wichita Street, near Highway 287, shortly before 7 a.m.

The man, who has not been identified yet, had gunshot wounds to his upper torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
